Corey Feldman

Corey Feldman’s (My) Truth Hitting the Internet

It’s a far stone’s throw away from breaking news that Hollywood is corrupt to its core. In the last several years, a little light has been shed on some of the sludge that the elites in the formerly-Golden State have kept hidden from the public for so long. Certainly, no case is more significant than that of Harvey Weinstein, which is infamous if you broaden your viewing beyond the mainstream media. Accusations of sexual harassment and abuse are certainly not unique to that case, however. Former child star Corey Feldman announced back in February that he will be releasing a documentary film titled (My) Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys, in which he will expose not only his own abusers from his child acting days but also those of his friend and colleague, the late Corey Haim. The two friends, who starred in such films as License to Drive, The Lost Boys, and Blown Away, were both sexually and physically assaulted as children, according to Feldman. Haim died young at the age of 38 in March of 2010, and Feldman plans to release the docufilm on the 10th anniversary of his friend’s passing in honor of him.

Feldman has mentioned his abuse as a child actor before in his book, Coreyography: A Memoir, but did not name names. He has gone on record saying that this film will bring those names to light and try to blow the doors off of this corrupt, depraved Hollywood society. While dropping by The Wendy Williams Show, Corey Feldman stated that one name, in particular, is one that “everyone on the planet knows.” While the film’s purpose is ultimately to expose the corruption in the shell of Tinseltown, Feldman states that the documentary will address both sides of the accusations. He also claims it will be far more “even-handed” than 2019’s HBO documentary, Leaving Neverland, in which two men described their alleged abuse at the hands of the late “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson. Feldman says that a significant differentiating factor between (My) Truth and Leaving Neverland is that, unlike the latter, which was really just the two men detailing their accusations, the former has a number of victims and corroborating witnesses. Corey explains that he hopes the evidence and its presentation will lead viewers to their same conclusion and help to uproot the vile atrocities that have been committed within Hollywood and put those involved permanently out of business.

Developing a documentary that seeks to expose and burn down decades of corrupt favors and misconduct is not an endeavor that comes without risks. Hollywood is filled to the brim with powerful people, and those people do not appreciate the status quo of their power structure being disrupted. Corey Feldman explains that for years other victims or witnesses have claimed to want to help, only to back out when threats came down upon them and their families. And who could blame them? But Feldman’s family is in the crosshairs of those who do not wish to lose the control they have as well. He has many times claimed that a group calling themselves “The Wolf Pack” has been making threats in an effort to stop the film’s production.

(My) Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys will air as a pay-per-view only on March 9th and 10th, and exclusively on the film’s website.
