In a recent interview with NME, Fantastic Beasts star Eddie Redmayne was asked the following:

Seeing as the latest Fantastic Beasts film didn’t do well at the box office, I think it is safe to say this movie might never see the light of day, which is disappointing, as I personally would like to know how the story ends.
