Ryan Benoit will not be fighting in UFC Fight Night this Saturday after failing to make weight for his scheduled flyweight bout with Zarrukh Adashev.

It was a scary scene during Benoit’s second attempt to make weight, where he appeared extremely unsteady on his feet.

Weight cutting can get extreme at times, but Ryan Benoit was at a dangerous level of dehydration. He literally needed help just to walk and stand on the scale. After missing his second weigh-in attempt by 3 pounds, his fight was cancelled and he was reportedly taken to the hospital.
